CREWThe Castle Vale Repertory
Entertainment Workshops (CREW) is a resident run performing arts group which
was set up to give young people in Castle Vale an opportunity to develop
their own skills through singing, dancing and drama in an enjoyable and
friendly way. The group also aim to develop individuals' confidence and
give support within the group as a whole. There are around 40 committed core
members ranging in ages of 3 - 60.
If you are interested in joining pop along to the Castle Vale Leisure Centre
on a Sunday morning between 10:00am and 12 noon or telephone 0121 747 6226.
Got What It Takes (GWIT)
Got What It Takes was formally founded in October 1999 as a 12 month project funded by a
millennium commission grant just short of £3,000. The initial project
outline was to work with young people from the Castle Vale area in forming a
number of musical acts to conclude in a performance of various styles at the
